When I first slipped on my new “well-traveled” sandals, I thought they would be perfect. However, as soon as I stood up I realized there was a problem as I felt pain in the arches of both feet. The sandals have a design issue, unless you have very narrow feet. There is a raised-ridge around the sole; it’s no problem except at the instep where the sandals narrows and presses against the arch of the foot. Anyway, I’m bummed! I very much appreciated your note with the trivia about the shoe.
