brianpetroski Exactly! Why are so many against using Paypal. I guess they like losing 20%.

elenabeckman @brianpetroski I've actually tried to do transactions with people where I was buying their products, and paying them with Paypal and they just won't do it! You get your full asking price, get the money ASAP, and the buyer saves on the ridiculous poshmark shipping! Paypal is just so easy :)

brianpetroski @elenabeckman I know. It works both ways. As a buyer you save like you said a ridiculous shipping cost. You can buy a $5 item and shipping will cost more than the merchandise. As a seller you get your money now and don't have to wait for someone to hit "accept" and the 20% you don't lose more than covers shipping. Even that can be negotiated on low priced items. It is ridiculous. PayPal has been around a lot longer than pm. PayPal is like a credit card now. They take it a some of our stores here for payment. Must be pretty safe.

I know there are some posh scammers out there who prey on Paypal users but if you aren't smart enough to pick out those sketchy sellers then hey maybe you shouldn't use Paypal. They give people like us who use it to help ourselves and others a bad name! Lol

brianpetroski @elenabeckman they could get scammed just as easy by PM. People do trades all the time. Scammer just doesn't send his/her item. PM doesn't cover that and they say so. No Paypal but trade with a stranger and trust they're going to send you your item. Of your gonna get scammed your gonna get scammed. Save some money doing it. Lol

annaconda PayPal is against poshmark rules and can get you kicked off the sight. Poshmark can't protect you from fraud with PayPal the 20% is a bargain considering all the effort they put into creating this sight! Consignment stores charge 40% trades also are not protected there are many scammers who trade and honest people get screwed! FYI

elenabeckman @annaconda I understand but I am an honest seller, and have 100% feedback. I still do transactions through posh so they get their 20% but for the people on a budget that need to save on shipping I offer Paypal. If anything I am just being flexible 👍
