@rottqueen2 it definitely is small world. I haven't heard that she shows them, just breeding I believe. Her dogs are huge! Actually, now it's only one, her female passed away few weeks ago. Out of nowhere, her spleen ruptured. (I think that's what it was). Very sad. My rottie was 11 when he passed, it was a horrible thing to go through. Now I have lap dogs. Such cuties and the Manchester terrier, Rambo, looks like a min rottie!

Ty! My rottie Chia was the love of my life! Had her for 14 years and she was a long haired puffy rottie. Thick & thin that girl. Have never been able to make that connection with our dogs now. Love em though... She ruined me... Anywho...as I start to tear up ...

@awolsista Thats how I was with my last rottie who I had for 12 years. His name was King and when he died I didn't think I would ever get another dog and have a connection like he and I did. After a whole year without a dog I was looking through Craigslist and came across a 1 year old male who needed a home cuz he lived in a cage 24/7. When I first got him, I hated him and felt like he was trying to replace King. Well after a few days, he gave me that sweet rottie look and nuzzles and I was hooked. We have bonded and he is my pride and joy! I love him to death and wouldn't change a thing about him. He isn't anything like King, but he's special in his own way. He's Vito and I love him to death!

πawww so sweet and sincere, Ty for that!! We have 2 rescues now that I do love(pit & black lab) but just don't share the same intuition as I did w her. We got her when I was 13 and I moved out at 18 and she died when I was very pregnant 14 years later with first son.
It's amazing how some pets are so in tune with you, they can feel when you are sad even before you show it. She would just let me lay on her and cry and was always there for me....
