This unassuming necklace has been scratch tested at my local gem shop and my local pawn shop. And both tests say that the pieces in between the purple stones are 10kt gold. However, the clasp, I don't think is gold? Not sure if these stones are amethyst or not but I think they might be? I don't wear this at all, but it is gorgeous.
