When I take off the main silver cap, the decorative silver piece, under the pump is loose/comes up. So keep that in mind if you keep the main silver cap on your foundation all the time. It can probably be reglued to the white plastic part underneath because this is just cosmetic. The last two pictures I illustrate this-I show the silver section coming up and exposing the white plastic underneath, and then I show it back down in the last picture.
