Hand woven Thai silk 36" x 36" Machine stitched hems Perfect condition, like new, no stains or tears Main colors are turquoise and black, with accents of pink and gold, very stunning. I spent some time in India, studying silk spinning, weaving, dyeing and stamping, so I understand how much work and artistic talent went into this piece. Each process involves many steps. Someone made the design, there's the carver who makes the stamps, a person who applied the design, a dye master created the colors, someone wove the silk, someone else prepared the silk to accept the dye. All you have to do is wear it! Or, it's beautiful just draped over the arm of a chair. I wouldn't hang it, because of sun damage. Dry clean.
