10K Gold Star Sapphire Ring with Diamond Accents

Vintage Cornflower Blue Star Sapphire with diamonds. Created and mounted in 10K yellow gold. Two diamond accents on each side of the Sapphire. It's Hallmarked 10K, and the Maker's Mark is Zales. The size is 5. The ring is marked 999, which is the highest concentration of gold. This sapphire is lab created (a "Linde" type) and shows its white 6-rayed star sharply when a bright light shines on it. To identify if your "sapphire" stone is real, stay in total darkness and use a flashlight to shine a light on it. If the stone is genuine, the same color as the sapphire stone reflects. However, if it is a fake sapphire jewel (usually made of glass), you will see other color reflections in the crystal. This test was completed, and authenticity was confirmed by a professional jeweler.
