Both band and watch are 10kt RGP (rolled gold plated) Watch is 17 jewels Runs. This is a windup/mechanical watch. It does take a bit of help to get moving, but doesn't have any problem once it starts ticking. To start it, move your wrist clockwise and counterclockwise to get the balance wheel inside moving. Recommended for wrists that are 6.25 inches or smaller.
