does this have the thicker lining on the inside or more like a jacket? i’m looking for a winter coat

@veronica0820 would depend where you live for me to know what you mean by winter, but I’m in Minnesota and it would not be warm enough for an outside winter jacket to play in snow in. Great for outdoors in Minnesota during chilly spring and Fall months. Was great for car seat because it’s not bulky!
