13" Round Vintage Tepco Restaurant Platter - The Sportsman Chefs

This wonderful Tepco restaurant platter was made for the Sportsman Chef restaurant, but was never used because of several minor imperfections in the porcelain. It measures 13 inches round and was made in the USA. It features a chef with traditional toque and above him are a duck, a buck and a fish. I tried to find out where the The Sportsman Chef was located and it turned out to be San Jose. The imperfections are one greenish blemish near the chef and a ding in the glaze around the outside border. (see photos) These came about when the platter was fired. Otherwise, still usable and a rare piece for the collector. I have several, but am only listing this one. If interested in all 4 let me know.
