jrkant @hauluxurybags Yes, moissanites test as diamonds on the meter scale. Moissanites' hardness are 9.25 and a diamond's is 10 and the scale measures them as being the same hardness.

jrkant @hauluxurybags Usually I'd just take the ring to my friend who is a jeweler to do it in person but am currently stuck home like everyone else. I have been meaning to invest in a diamond tester however so will see if there is a reliable one on Amazon. It's not like any of us can go anywhere at the moment. For the record though I only purchase moissanites from people I know personally--although I did invest in a charles and colvard engagement ring. All test the same. I'll look on Amazon.
