Valued at $1490 Estate 1.2 TCW Ruby and Sapphire Reversible Bird Pendant in 18K Yellow Gold This unique pendant in the shape of a bird with outstretched wings and a long tail is set with all blue sapphires on one side and all rubies on the reverse side. The listing includes the pendant only, no chain. Each face of this pendant contains 35 bezel-set round stones (0.35 total carat weight) most of them, about 1.2 mm in diameter (they vary slightly in size) in the body and wings of the bird, and 5 bezel set marquise-shaped stones, 3 x 1.5 mm (0.25 total carat weight) in the bird's tail. The pendant's structure is openwork metal, kind of like an arch bridge, such that a bit of light can come through and the definite blue of the sapphires or pinkish red of the rubies can be seen when worn.
