14K Gold 1.60CT TW Diamond Blue Sapphire J Hoop Pierced Earrings - Posts w/Omega

Dating to the 1970s/1980s or so, may I offer this pair of 14K Yellow Gold (hallmarked as pictured) J hoop earrings for pierced ears featuring faceted round white diamonds and dark blue sapphires. The ear mechanism is a post with an omega back closure. Height of each earring is 3/4"; width is 7/16" wide. Combined weight of the pair is 8.7 grams. The diamonds number 6 to each earring and measure 2.5mm (2.5 points); total diamond weight to the pair is 30 points. Color is G-H and clarity is SI1. The top blue marquise cut sapphire measures 7.5mm x 3.5mm (33 points) while the 4 princess cut sapphires measure 3mm (18 points) each; total blue sapphire weight to the set is 1.3CT TW. Total gemstone weight to this set is 1.60CT TW approx. Blue sapphires are a deep dark color and are just gorgeous - they play well with the yellow gold and the diamonds.
