14k Yellow Gold Tourmaline Diamond Ring Emerald Cut Color Change Tourmaline and Diamond Ring. It is cast in solid 14k Yellow Gold and weighs in at a hefty 8.6 grams. The 10 X 8mm 3 carat Tourmaline goes from a interesting plum color to a brownish red to a purple depending on the light source. There are also lots of sparkly genuine diamonds that are a combination of princess cuts and brilliants. On each side of the Tourmaline are six 2mm princess cut diamonds (12 total) and three 2mm brilliant cut diamonds (6 total) for a total of approx 3/4 carats of diamonds. All diamonds are clean and VS-SI H color gemstones that have been channel set. This is a rare Tourmaline and it is difficult to find a color change stone in this size and color. Small imperfection on side of stone (see pic 9). Can not see without magnification but needed to mention for accuracy.
