jacciluv2shop Hey. It's me again. I was thinking that I could temporarily dye this to match my silver unit that I bought from you. I know you are having a hard time trying to find me another unit like the one I have. What do you think. My ends are dry and I'm thinking about giving it a chemical bath to take out the tangles. It's been hot so I have been wearing it in a ponytail. What do you think?

erinelmore05 @jacciluv2shop hey beautiful!! you could do that it may be slightly different grays but it could definitly work. From my understanding to get the platinum color you are literally mixing all colors together. Keep in mind this is a soft wave so a dye will relax the wave a bit.

erinelmore05 @jacciluv2shop I would try a good mask on the ends of your current unit. unfortunately blondes, grays can dry out especially on the ends and that will definitely help. I worry the acid bath may not be helpfully in the long run unless you use silicone yo coat. once those cuticles are burned off I'm afraid it will tangle badly. Try a reconstructive deep condition or mask on the ends. I feel that will help give it back the moisture it is missing.

jacciluv2shop @erinelmore05 I will try that as I did not want to do a chemical bath and the ends are tangling really bad. I so need you to find another unit but I know its hard. Trying to decide if purchasing this unit is worth it. I love the color that I have.

erinelmore05 @jacciluv2shop oh ok gotcha. Yes a good reconstructive hydrating mask will definitely help. Yes it is definitely hard to find quality gray units. They typically are synthetic
