6.46 Carat Ruby, set in 14k White Gold. This ruby is a much sought after deep red, with no heat treatments or enhancements. It has a few minor inclusions, and is opaque. Large rubies of this color are extremely valuable, and are valued at a wide range based on color, clarity, and source. Rubies of somewhat similar size, color, and clarity start at $1,543/carat, and the most valuble, high clarity and color stones can go for $100,000/carat. To date, the 8.62 carat Graff Ruby holds the record, selling for $8.6 million in 2014!! This particular stone was appraised at $2,640/carat, for a total of $15,891.60!
