14k vintage flexible mesh ring

This is a solid 14k yellow gold ring that I received in the 90s in a box with other jewelry I inherited. It's in excellent new like condition but I don't know much about the history. It measures a size 10 but it's flexible so I'm not sure if that size goes up or down depending on your finger shape. Half of the ring is a solid 14k band and the other half is 14K chain link type mesh. Ring has been tested to ensure it's solid 14k but it's also marked 14k with the letters IGl.
