Dated 10.13.31, 14k gold top floating opal pendant. The bale is not marked so I do not consider it 14k gold. It also looks to have PA on it. The date refers to the 3rd patent of Horace Welch. Floating opals are small chips of opals encased in a glass orb and filled with fluid. Horace Welch invented the floating opals in 1920s.
