14kt Gold Black Star Sapphire Diamond Accent Ring

14kt gold ring set with black star sapphire and accented with diamond. I purchased this ring decades ago and it no longer fits my fingers. The stamps are mostly rubbed off and the gold stamp is a European stamp and you can still see the 96 and I think the next one is 9 but I am unsure. Also stamped JTC and I took this piece to a jeweler when I thought I might sell it to them and they tested the gold and said it is 14kt. Stones are tested on a presidium gem tester and they test in the sapphire and diamond ranges. Size approx. 5.75 Stamped 96 (rubbed possible 9) JTC, and tested positive for 14kt gold. I am not an expert in gems but the stone is slightly larger than a one carat blue sapphire ring that I have so I would say this stone is at least 1ct. Ring weighs 4 grams total weight. F
