1701 Thick Book Theological Studies (?) BIBLE from closed stacks of Seminary ✝️📖

Large Antiquarian book of theological studies (?) of the BIBLE c1701 from closed stacks of Library of Ohio Seminary. Latin? Laid paper. Originally thought was an actual Bible. RARE FIND. 1900 #’d pages, but their “page #’s” are 2 per page & double sided. Thick, esti 15x9x3 In surprisingly good condition. Now, if you’re a collector, ur version of wonderful may differ from mine. See pix. Comes to u in AS-FOUND, AS-IS condition. General conditions below. Exterior: Remains of leather (peeling) on spine, {early} replacement marbled board covers; split/cracked spine, covers loosening. Personally, I prefer old books as-is, but if u prefer otherwise will need to be rebound. Few loose pages, some loose threads, but binding basically intact. Interior: Mild scattered foxing & toning (browning), few dark spots. Surprised to see how nice inside was. Some pages show more toning than others. Towards beginning of book there is light staining at top/center from spine down a few inches; towards center it’s the opposite, it’s from the bottom of the spine up. Faint. Some page edge wear & few edge tears, some dog ears/bends; few scattered old bookworm holes. Likely kept safe/temp controlled, as no major moldy smell, only normal musty library shelf smell. Also interesting: quality control wasn’t top-notch then, some page #’s are “off”: 2 page #’s may be the same (we saw this on page #’s in the 40s), or pg #’s may not be consecutive, ie u may have pg #’s “383, 483, 385, 386” 🌺 O147
