Printed by and for Wilson, Spence, and Mawman A companion book containing the solutions to the questions presented in Francis Walkingame’s “The Tutor’s Assistant.” T. Crosby was the headmaster of the Charity School in York. This key was designed to aid students and teachers using Walkingame’s work, a popular arithmetic textbook in the 18th century. The key includes solutions with references as they appear in the latest edition of “The Tutor’s Assistant” and also adds some useful rules and guidelines related to arithmetic.
