18" 4-Strand 4-8mm Freshwater Rice Pearl Necklace Torsade Choker Box Clasp *VTG*

18 in. or princess-length, 4-strand, 5mm wide x 4-8mm long natural freshwater rice pearl ("rice krispie") necklace with a gold-plated circular box tab clasp topped by a 8mm flatback faux or simulated pearl. All four strands are approximately the same length and are tied to the end rings with clear nylon line. No marks. Probably from the 1980s. Can be worn untwisted, tightly twisted into a 16 in. torsade choker, or anywhere in-between (see pics). Please note, however, that because the strands are tied to each end ring in a different order, they will always overlap and never lie perfectly flat. From a smoke-free home. Questions?
