1800s French Iron Cast Metal Mondragon UC Rusty

1800s French Iron Steel Cast Mondragon UC A great French 19th century iron. This would have been heated with coal, which is why it has its very own chimney! It also has a wooden handle and a metal heat shield with decorative design. Includes trivet. The iron is marked - Mondragon UC Made in France Condition: Used, super rusty. The hinge which should hold the lid onto the base is broken, so the lid cannot attach securely onto the base anymore. Needs a deep cleaning. Marked “Mondragon UC” Measurements: 9” tall including trivet 8.5” tall without trivet 7” long 4.5” wide
