1840 Antique Botanical Yellow Print Framed by Jane Loudon Hand Colored Victorian

Authenticated 19th Century Lithograph Print by Jane Loudon from The Ladies Flower Garden of Perennials published from 1843-1849.(Plate 52) Beautifully hand colored lithographed plates finished with gum arabic by the English firm Day and Haghe Lithographers to the Queen. It dates to about 1840 (specifically from 1838 to about 1845 when one of the partners died). Shadow Box Framing Print measures approximately 8.25" wide by 10.5" long Framed Size: 11.5" x 14" This was probably framed in the 1970s or 1980s. It is in good antique condition...there is general toning (light darkening of the paper due to age), some scuffing of the frame.
