If you put a light coat of clear nail polish inside ANY ring whether it’s sterling silver to stainless steel to something more I have done this to even gold pieces as sometimes beyond anyone’s control there can be a chemical “metal” reaction and just putting a coat of clear polish inside no one knows but you.... it lasts for 2-6 months then it’s recommended to redo 😘i saw the life hack that also suggests coating any
