otilia32 @lynnzecco If a gold product bears the hallmark '750', then your gold has been tested and classed as 18 carat or 75 per cent pure. The remaining 25 per cent of the item is composed of different metals such as nickel, copper, or in some cases silver. in short words 750 means the item karat is 18k gold like silver 925 , like 14k gold is 595 and platinum is PT950 there is 21 and 22 24k gold but … I think you got your answer .. My brooch is 18k gold 750 and a small turquoise
