I am the only person who has been given written permission from Tiffany and Company to take pieces of their antique silverware and create these unique handcrafted rings. Poshmark has been provided with this documentation, which is why I am allowed to sell these pieces on their site. This piece has been accepted into art galleries for exhibit and sale. This establishes that the piece is gallery quality. This piece was made from a 1900 Florentine Salt Spoon. The Gold Vermeil bowl was flattened and shaped to make the piece big enough to wear. Spoon rings originated back in the 1700s in England. Like all wedding rings, a spoon ring denotes love, commitment, and responsibility. Symbolizing feminine intuition and inner knowledge, it's also associated with spirituality. Size is approximate, and based solely on where it sits on my size mandrel. Because these pieces can flex, they can usually fit multiple sizes. Because this piece is handcrafted, there may be slight inconsistencies or imperfections. Buyers Purchase Agreement; I do not take returns on handcrafted items. This is a final sale. Due to growing buyer fraud, all items are photographed with date stamps prior to shipping.
