1900's Edwardian Sterling Silver Guilloched Enamel Miniature Hand Mirror

This is another incredibly special antique from a collection my friend wishes to sell. I have only seen one of these miniature English hand mirrors one other time. It was yellow and not nearly in this condition. This one is exceptional. The entire piece is 2.5" high and 1.5" across. It is hand guilloched with a beautiful blue shade of enamel that is in perfect condition. Most objects from this era have chips missing or cracks in the enamel. The actual little round mirror on the obverse has minor scratches on it for a 125 year old mirror! Another amazing feature is the ribbon on this mirror. This lovely Edwardian Lady must have worn it around her neck. I can see the ribbon is very old, but it may have been added years later. The assay marks on the handle read the piece was made in England and is Fine Sterling Silver. This is a real find.
