1908 Dueber 14 K Double Sided Locket, 17.55 Grams

Here for your consideration is a lovely 1908 14K yellow gold, round double sided locket. Fob watch style. One side opens by pushing down the top, which looks like a fob top and the other side has a small raised line of gold which opens the obverse side. On one side of the interior are the following numbers. 6922355. The opposite interior features etched into the gold, warranted 25 years, Dueber 14K and the same numbers as the opposite side. The interior of the second side is etched a name in script which I cannot make out. There is the name starting with a B then forever 1908. The other side says Dueber with an anchor underneath and the same numbers as the other interiors. Perhaps it was a watch converted to a locket, I have no idea. The exterior is etched with leaves on both sides with the letter B lightly etched on one side. It measures 1 1/4” across by 1 1/2” including the bale. Measuring 17.55 grams, a sweet antique locket in remarkably good condition. NOTE: WHILE MOST DUEBER FOBS/LOCKETS WERE 10 OR 14 GF THIS IS 14K GOLD AS THE ANCHOR DEPICTS. ANCHOR MARK WAS ONLY ON GOLD AND NOT GOLD FILLED.
