1910s German Micro Beaded Purse With Floral Motif Including Original Vial Of Spare Beads Antique Up for consideration is this exceptionally pretty antique German glass beaded handbag with a bold and colorful floral display. The bright orange background is showing very well, really sets off the lavenders, pinks and reds in the roses, daisies and generous floral motif. The spectrum of color is dynamic and includes all translucent glass beads in cranberry red, pale pink, plum, pale lavender, teal, pale yellow, brown, emerald green, etc. Both sides of this purse have the same pattern. Measurements:  8 1/4" H x 6" W x 3/8" D 7.7 oz Condition:  Very good antique condition. If beading was repaired, it appears seamless and invisible. No noticed exterior tears or loss of beads. The antique brass toned embossed frame shows some wear and common aged patination as expected. It is secure to the purse and closes firmly. One corner doesn’t meet quite flush. Interior lining is original but fragile with the brading in good shape but the side seams where the frame hinge meets the lining is coming undone. Interior ruffle pocket has lots of fraying and ripping, especially at the seam of the ruffled trim. Please see all photos.
