1920 ANTIQUE H&H Cleaner--company closed in 1921

The H&H Cleaner Co. bar soap made by Hyde Carpet Cleaner and Moth Exterminator Company in Des Moines, IA. It was used for cleaning upholstery, carpets, rugs, silks, and woolen goods. This bar found in the grandparent's house in Barberton, Ohio was never used. Inside paper wrapping is still intact1 Made since1889 in cake form. The company business from 1889-1921 also had a Canadian patent in 1900. This house was built in 1920, but it was probably an exciting necessary purchase to clean goods for the family.
