1920s/20s sheer drop-waist lace dress with orange & yellow filigree embroidery

this is a stunning 1920's lace dress. it's made from black net and has an intricate pattern throughout. the skirt is very impressive with stylised ribbon detail which has been embroidered in orange and yellow thread. intricate gold thread also runs alongside these details. it has two belt loops on each side with a thin piece of black velvet ribbon threaded through. the top part of the dress has been attached to the bottom half. i have photographed the dress without the black ribbon so it is possible to see how it hangs. the overall condition is solid and the piece is wearable, though the right side of the dress has torn significantly toward the bottom and thus hangs lower than the rest of the dress-- it will likely need to be mended which would definitely be doable given the intricacy of the embroidery through the lace and the fact that no fabric is actually missing. as with many lace items from this period there are some additional holes throughout, but nothing huge. all flaws have been photographed. approximate measurements: bust: 48" length from nape of neck 44" waist 46" note: i live with cats and even though i store all items in bins away from them, i'd recommend using discretion if you have severe allergies. feel free to ask any questions or request more photos! xx
