This is a rare find indeed. According to the age of the Union label, this hat could have been made in the 20s or 30s, and by the style it appears so, perhaps a skilled eye could determine an exact decade. The label reads Camelot New York. It appears to be a black wool felt hat with a chiffon wrap. It fits very snugly on my head at 21 inches. If you want a little room, make sure your measurements are at 21 1/2”, otherwise a modification to the inside rim would be necessary.
