1930s Chanel Art Deco Gilt Metal and Rhinestone Choker

Gorgeous, exceedingly rare, 1930s Chanel necklace from the period Chanel jewelry was still in the art deco mode, and exploring modernism. It is a gilt articulated metal choker-length necklace with large headlight-style rhinestones prong-set in gilt metal orbs along the front, forming a pendant, and at the ball push clasp at the back. Because it’s articulated it lays differently depending on your neck size - my neck is smaller than the mannequin’s in the photos, so it lays lower on me and more circular, like a collar. The rhinestones refract light with a prism effect, so have a truly lovely sparkle to them. Unsigned as expected for early Chanel, and professionally authenticated by a third-party authentication company; certificate information will be sent to the buyer - and Poshmark also authenticates items over $500.
