1930s Hall China Cadet Blue 5 Band Small Milk Pitcher MINT
Vintage cadet blue small milk pitcher made by Hall China in their 5 Band pattern circa the 1930s.
There are 5 bands around the mouth of the pitcher and the inside is white. It measures 5 inches tall, the mouth measures 3¾ inches in diameter, 6½ inches from spout to handle and the base measures 2¾ inches in diameter. It will hold 3 cups of liquid (24 ounces). The base is stamped with Hall’s circular mark (see photos). This is in MINT condition with no problems noted.
NOTE: The "5 Band" kitchenware line was introduced in 1936. Colors included Chinese Red, Cobalt, Indian Red, Marine, Cadet, Ivory and Canary. This beautiful stylish pattern can be found on bowls, a cookie jar, pitchers, coffee pots, a carafe, a batter bowl, a casserole, syrup, and shakers. Hall China Company first began production in 1903 in East Liverpool, Ohio, making utilitarian ware like jugs, bedpans, and mugs. Hall china is durable, non-porous, and unlike other types of china, it doesn't craze!
