Here for your consideration is a nice old vintage 1930s Bakelite Telechron electric clock. This clock is also a timer clock with an outlet in the back to control a radio or appliance on a timer . I copied this from a database for old clocks but here is how it is used"This timepiece divides the 12-hour day into 48, 15-min. periods. It has a key for each. When a key is pulled out, the current will be turned on during that period. Pulling two or more adjacent keys will give continuous operation for those periods. It is especially adaptable to control of radios. An outlet at back accommodates the plug from an appliance." So apparently this was a state of the art timer for the early 1930s. The clock measures 6x5x3". I tested the clock and the clock runs and works. I did not plug anything into the back to test the timer function. The chord is old and looks original and is worn. Therefore this will need a new chord but it is working. The bakeliite case has no cracks or chips but does have some scuffs and age. Overall a nice collectible piece.
