1934 Chicago World's Fair Souvenir Walking Cane - Century of Progress - Aluminum

Rare! This excellent 1934 Chicago World's Fair "A Century of Progress" souvenir walking cane is 36" in length and made of aluminum. Featuring an Art Deco design, this cane features the logo for the world's fair beneath the handle and copper bands Black colored engravings highlight 12 exhibits featured at the World's Fair which include: Illinois - Host Sky Ride Carillon Tower Travel Building Federal Building Golden Pavilion of Jehol Streets of Shanghai Spanish Village Dairy Building General Exhibits Electrical Group Administration Building The very bottom is marked: "Patent Applied For" This cane is very lightweight due to it's aluminum construction. Size: Measures approximately 36" in length. Chicago vintage Condition: Cane is complete with a few dents, scuffs and scratches from use. It does have a slight bend to it.
