The Rare Vintage 1940’s ALICE-CAVINESS 5-Strand Venetian Glass/Crystal Bead “Hawaiian Lei” Necklace with Embedded Daisy Figures & Yellow Glass Flower-Shaped Caps is in excellent condition! Some light patina, consistent with age and use. This piece sparkles! This Alice Caviness 5-Strand Crystal/Glass Bead Necklace re-creates the fragile Hawaiian Lei of delicate, exotic flowers, captured for a lifetime! Large, clear Venetian beads embedded with big, colorful, blooms join strands of the smallest, Venetian Crystal seedlings! Within each large bead, the glassblowers imbeded big blooms along with tiny, daisy figures! Caviness has capped each large, fairy-like orb with a delicate, crystal flower on each end. The 28-inch strands are gathered together into a golden filigree caps. The golden push-in clasp is set with a large, clear, round, cabochon imbedded with more blooms, signed on back with the iconic 'Alice Caviness' cartouche!
