This is a great souvenir plate for the City of Pittsburgh, PA. The ivory plate with burgundy transfer drawings of Margaret Pearson Joyner of the Allegheny Observatory, Stephen Foster Memorial, Heniz Memorial, Cathedral of Learning, Buhl Planetarium and Institute of Popular Sciences, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium for Patriotic and Civil Gatherings, Pitt Stadium, and Westinghouse Bridge - longest concrete arch in America. The back of the plate reads "CITY OF PITTSBURGH - Meet me under the clock at KAUFMANN'S - Designed exclusively - for them - by - VERNON KILNS - U.S.A. - Second Edition."
It is approximately 10 ½" in diameter and in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It is in wonderful condition.
