1940s Sterling by Jordan Pin Brooch Rose Gold Wash over Sterling Silver

A ca 1940s "Sterling by Jordan" brooch made by the R.M. Jordan & Co. Providence RI. The bold sculpted vermeil flower pin is made from sterling silver with a wash of rose gold. An round golden glass cabochon is prong-set. The back has a roll-over clasp. The back has a round plaque which is stamped STERLING BY JORDAN. The pin measures 2" w x 1 5/8" h x 1/2" d and weighs 10 grams. The gold wash has some minor pitting which exposes the underlying silver; it hardly detracts from the beauty of the pin, just adds more character
