1940’s Handmade Velvet Gown from my personal collection. There is so much to love about this dress. The velvet is very soft and feels like a Silk Velvet. Cut on the bias, and gathered under the bust. There is characteristic 40’s seaming at the bodice “pointing” up under the bust line, and down at the waistline. Two Thin Velvet Straps hold everything up. The dress has a metal Talon side zipper. Shown on my Size 2/XS dress form. Photos have been added with a tape measure. Will fit up to a 34” bust which is what my dress form measures. No Flaws. Unlined. Price Firm unless bundled.
