1940s Vintage Skirt Suit, 40s Pencil Skirt & Tailored Fitted Blazer by Bond

See those massive shoulders? Do they call to mind Joan Crawford in Mildred Pierce? This one has it all. It's gray from far away but on close inspection (see fabric close-up) you can see the tiny black & white checks. This wool gabardine jacket is fully lined in satin, has shoulder flanges and curvy tapered waist. Two pockets. The pencil skirt has side metal zipper and classic lines. Unlined, side vents. It's close to perfect. I had to plug up a small hole in the front, center of the skirt (close up shown) also two in back of one sleeve (also shown). From far away, they look like slight irregularities in the fabric. It is clean.
