1940s handmade quilt eight point star with novelty fabrics 85" x 63.5

Nice 1940s- early 50s handmade quilt featuring an 8 point star pattern. The fabrics are really cute and bright. There are several novelty prints included. It is all cotton, with cotton batting. There are a few tears which I have pictured. There is some light dye bleed on the back in a few places. It measures 85" x 63.5" and is shown on a full size bed. Sourced in western North Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
