1942 WW2 Style Crest Hosiery box red, white and blue 🇺🇸

this box is adorable it has the notation from the original owner December 1942 the original gift paper from Christmas with the original cellophane tape is inside the box has seen better days obviously there is a large tear increase on the front left side there are scratches through the navy blue portion of the box the end of the box States aloha blush l-10 3 thread long Style Crest crepes is the design now these were a very treasured gift in the war because pantyhose were in very short supply I think because of factory workers were all gone off to war and any type of material that could be used by the military was destined for the military and not for civilians so many women even took to drawing with a pen a line up the back of their calves to make it appears though they were wearing the treasured stockings. so if you are in ephemera collector this would be adorable in your collection three thread crepes shears longs full fashioned hosiery what could be better? please note poshmark has labeled this nwt but this is not new with tags obviously it's a vintage item.
