1947 Girls Dress Pattern Sz 3 Dirndl Skirt Ruffling Complete

1947 Simplicity pattern # 2031 for a child's one-piece dress. Size 3, breast 22", waist 20 1/2". The back buttoning bodice is fitted with darts at the front and back waistline. Ruffling simulates an apron on the dirndl skirt. A tie belt joined in the side seams, forms a bow at the center back. Styles 1 & 2 have puffed sleeves and contrasting fabric is used for the lower section of the skirt. Self ruffling, in Style 1, trims the neck edge and skirt. In Style 2, lace trims the high round neck, sleeves and skirt. Style 3 has embroidered edging at the armhole edges, U neckline and skirt seam. It has been cut and is complete with instructions.
