mfoscoll My mother had a set of these bowls. I grew up with them. There is no way they are worth 300.00 nor are that worth 200.00z. They’re just glass bowls. I would love to have a set for nostalgic reasons but 2 or 3 hundred dollars is just a waste of good money. Sorry.

brendabarnes583 Those bowls are not that expensive. My mom had the same bowls when I was a child. My whole set got broken. I would love to replace them for sentimental reasons but not for that price. Sorry!!!

ruthfritton @brendabarnes583 I I agree - nowhere near that price. I have a complete set of Pyrex mixing bowls that my husband and I received for a wedding gift some 50 years ago. There is no way there are worth any $200 or $300. I use them often and love them but....

lgroberts1111 @lisalll528 I'm looking for a green. I had the whole set, when my mom passed away, I asked my sister if she wanted any of them, she took the green, later it was broken, I have the rest, I've checked many antique stores, never a green. lol

njshoreangie906 @mfoscoll these caught my eyes for the same reasons you noted. I still have 3 of 4 bowls, I don’t know what happened to my red bowl but I keep looking to replace it. Like you they are no way worth the asking price.

paulisterrific
paulisterrific I Have this set My grandparents lived on Pyrex st Corning NY they went there right after WW2,because it was one place that was hiring my uncle after being discharged from the armed service also went there jobs were plentiful and of course everyone worked at Corning glass works . Not only are they nostalgic they are perfect for mixing cakes they seem to gather the ingredients perfectly Not used as much as they used to be No amount of money could replace the memories!

dayne812
dayne812 @tracy_mcnabb thank you. I sell to the antique dealers, that's why the mark up. I have given away more than I have sold. I still use mine too. What kind of people go to a strangers closet and leave negative comments on items they are selling? I find it interesting that not one of these people that left negative comments actually sell anything on Poshmark. I'm ok if they can't afford my prices. They are not my market. Not only did their parents not leave them pyrex, they didn't teach em manners
Jan 18Reply
dayne812
dayne812 For those paying attention, I increased the price $100 because you all are being petty and rude. Because I can.
Jan 18Reply
dayne812
dayne812 @nancytrobaugh5 have you always been this rude and immature to strangers? Mind your own business, and move along....
