1950 Vintage VON RAALTE Off White Chiffon Matching Robe Nightgown S Midi Flowing This nightgown was my mom’s. It is in immaculate condition! Size Small -elastic puff sleeve robe -lace & bow detail -fully lined, both pieces The Van Raalte Company was founded by brothers Emanuel and Zealie Van Raalte in 1913. Originally known as the E & Z Van Raalte Co., they were makers of fine gloves, nylon stockings, and lingerie. The brothers sold their interest in the business in 1927, but the name lived on to become well-known for the signature fabrics and treatments they developed and patented in the 1940s-60s, including Opaquelon, Fabulace, Petalskin, Suavette and Philmy. ALL of these clothes or articles came from MY or My Daughter’s closet. Condition is as seen in the pics. I take very good care of my belongings, & obviously have a hard time letting go. They all still fit me, so they are true to size from the era. If any “flaws” found will be noted & pictured. 
The label sizes are to be true to the genre.
