1950's Bell Trading Post Copper Owl Brooch

A striking 1950's vintage Bell Trading Post copper owl brooch. This wonderful Mid-Century Modern owl is 1 3/4" tall and in fine vintage condition. It is marked with a bell which is the earlier form of this companies mark. Bell Trading Post was established in 1932 by Jack Michelson and his wife Mildred in Albuquerque, New Mexico along the newly established highway Route 66. Bell was Mildred's maiden name which was used for the company name.
