1950's Black Taffeta Cocktail Dress with Blue Embroidery + Accent size M/L

Vintage 1950’s Cocktail dress, maker unknown size 13 tag (please see measurements for actual size and fit). Black taffeta fabric with Blue embroidery + ribbon accent, and Pellon lining at skirt. Stunning dress with beautiful fit! Deep V at front and back neckline. Slim fit 3/4 sleeves. Princess seams nip to the waist. Structured flounce with box pleats and wide Blue ribbon/ band looping through pleats on flounce box. Metal zipper at side. In Good condition with some wear + repairs at seams on bodice and above zipper, underarm, and s few missing teeth on the zipper (it moves with ease on and off our mannequin). Wears and presents beautifully. This is Not a delicate dress or fabric, it is sturdy. No stretch. Shown clipped on 5’11” size 4/6 mannequin.
