1950's Chantilly Lace Dress

This rare, stunning & ethereal vintage dress is intricately designed and well made with lace and Taffeta. It was kept in plastic for many years. *It does have some condition issues such as s holes and tears as shown in photos* It is ideal for many uses, up-cycled creative use, decoration, Formal occasions, Zombie Proms, Halloween, creative out of the box choices are endless. The valuable vintage Chantillylace itself could be worth its weight in gold. The dress has no tags but it appears to be a size M/L, with a regular fit and a stunning dusty blue color. The sleeveless design ,shrug, and intricate re-embroidered dark blue chantilly lace details make it an original piece that is absolutely gorgeous. This dress is one of a kind and a good possibility it was specialty sewn as there are no tags or manufacturer markings of any kind. Whoever created this treasure many years ago had amazing design and seamstress / tailor skills. Metal Zipper in great shape and works fine as well as clasp for the shrug. Again, There are some tears holes and aging in some areas that I tried to show in the photos. Could use a good seamstress to do some repairs in areas if kept as a dress to wear.
